A man once asked Abu Hurayrah – Allah be pleased with him, ‘What is al-taqwa?” He replied, “Have you ever taken a path filled with thorns?” The man replied, “I have.” Abu Hurayrah asked him, “What did you do?” He replied, “When I saw a thorn I would dodge it or pass over it or behind it.” Abu Hurayrah said, “That is al-taqwa.”

It was said to the Prophet [Muhammad], 'O Messenger of God! Curse the infidels.' Muhammad said, 'I am not sent for this, nor was I sent but as a mercy to mankind.' Sahih Muslim 325

The noble Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) ‘Neither argue with nor tease your brother, and never give your word to him and then break it.’ - Recorded in Sunan al-Tirmidhi
